Ice Skating
Sunday, January 4, 2009

I think I did pretty good on my first ice skate since I didn't fall though I almost did. Well of course, I used to be a professional roller skater. Actually, not exactly proficient but at least I know how to roller skate. They are roughly the same. Personally, I think ice skating is much more challenging. We saw many children experts and Tricia was desperately asking them to teach her to be just like them. I mean she didn't ask in person. It was more of a rant than a request. As for me, I didn't care if they really knew how to skate because I never am interested in being a professional ice skater. I just find them astounding and that's it. I actually pity Sabrina who do not know how to skate.  I hope she'll learn somehow. Practice makes perfect. Andrea, Liyana and Tricia seems to be skilled enough already. The five of us met Duane, Eng Liang, Jorges and Faris after skating. They left us for town a while later I suppose. They seem really bored at home, I can tell. I heard they wanted to go Boon Lay. Duane was complaining about us having to pay the adult fare for bus rides. Wouldn't going to Boon Lay be a waste of money as well? There's nothing there besides the crowded Jurong Point. I do not understand Duane really.

I left the remaining four girls and headed to Paya Lebar. I forgot that my mum won't be home that afternoon and so I called her after I reached Pasir Ris. I had to go back all the way to Paya Lebar such that it's more convenient for my dad to fetch me since they were already on their way to Jurong. This time, my brother was the one sleeping over. Hence, he had to be fetched. My other cousins were there too. It was an unexpected assembly. My eight cousins (one wasn't there), my youngest aunt and I played indoor rugby without safety equipments. We used a round soft toy which isn't really a ball. It has hands and legs. Most of us were absolutely brutal while playing. I think I almost got my knee fractured. It got me limping for a while. Otherwise, it was amusing. Yesterday was an exhausting day for me. Nevertheless, it was simply F-U-N, fun

The End.
